Price has been nominated for and received numerous music industry awards including the prestigious APRA Song Of The Year award for his song “Heaven Knows” and the Export Music Australia award for his outstanding achievements abroad.
From the very beginning, as a nine year old and the youngest member of his family’s band. Music was Price’s Passion. Since those humble yet defining days, set amongst the backdrop of country Queensland. The self taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning more than three decades.

Performing at the ‘Gympie Muster’, ‘Queensland Festival’, ‘Guthrie Green Festival’ (USA) ‘Wingham Akoostic Festival’, ‘Sydney Blues Festival’, ‘Bridgetown Blues Festival’, and returned for a second time to the ‘Thredbo Blues Festival’ in 2015. Mitch King continues to spread his infectious “One Man Band” sound across Australia. Known for his unique and dynamic performances, Mitch will showcase his ability to simultaneously blend vocals with electric and acoustic guitars, harmonica, kick drum and tambourine to create his Australian Folky Blues and Roots Sound.
